The third in a series of dimensional needlepoint projects from Amybear™ Needlepoints
He's ready to ship now!. This is a most unusual egghead!
As you can see, Humpty is ready for college in his Ivy League sweater.
He is 15" tall, but can sit too. He is done on 18ct. canvas.
His head is done in four parts each with a different decorative
stitch using Ecru DMC #5 Perle Coton.
His sweater is done in bargello using Navy, Forest Green and
Maroon Persian Wool,
as well as many fun threads from Rainbow Gallery (Tiara,
Twedie, Alpaca, and Wisper), braid from Kreinik
(#16 Gold), and beads from Mill Hill
(gold) to give the sweater
a little pizazz. His pants match the sweater but done in tent stitch.
