This Amybear Needlepoints design shows how color can be used to create a lighting effect. The colors move in waves from light to dark and dark to light. The farther away you stand from it the greater the effect. Step back from your computer screen and you will see what I mean. Duet does not list other colorways to achieve this effect. But for those expert enough to attempt it, changing the colorway while maintaining the light effect will be an interesting challenge.

The entire project is done in DMC floss that when laid properly produces the effect of silk. Finish size is 11.75” x 11.75” on Zweigart 22 count Congress Cloth.

The chartpak has 23 new decorative stitch diagrams and one diagram for the flat border stitch. Each diagram is enlarged to the size of a single page for clarity.
