The design inspiration for Adagio came from my life long passion for windows. I must have photographed hundreds of windows in a dozen different countries. I have also been taken by various quilt patterns resembling windows. Naturally, these windows are another chance to create new and interesting stitches. This stitch guide uses six different Caron Watercolours and four complimentary DMC Perle Coton threads, but I encourage you to create your own palette of colors so you can make your Adagio unique.
